The National Energy Foundation operated a mobile display unit, known as the Green Energy Machine (GEM), from 2002-9. This demonstrated exciting examples of wind and solar technologies, and was used by schools and at public events:

We have sold GEM, but it may still be available for hire in parts of South-East England from April 2010.
